We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to detect and diagnose crashes, fix issues, and improve the stability of the GrumblyDaddy app.
Data processed
When a crash occurs, Crashlytics may collect and send us:
- crash-related information (e.g., crash trace/stack trace, time of the crash, technical context);
- technical information about the device and the app (e.g., device model, Android version, language/locale, app version);
- a pseudonymous identifier linked to the installation: we set a Crashlytics
userIdbased on a random UUID generated on installation, then hashed. This identifier is not derived from an advertising identifier or a device identifier.
Data we do not intentionally collect
We do not seek to collect, via Crashlytics, data that directly identifies you (e.g., name, email address, phone number) or sensitive data. We also avoid including personal data in technical logs.
Purpose
Corrective maintenance, error diagnosis, and improving the reliability and security of the app.
Legal basis
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper operation and security of the app.
Recipients
The data is accessible only to authorized personnel (technical teams) and is processed by Google/Firebase as a service provider.
International transfers
Data may be processed by Google/Firebase, including on infrastructure located outside the European Union, in accordance with the contractual mechanisms and safeguards put in place by Google/Firebase.
Retention
Crash reports are retained for 12 months, then deleted or anonymized, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
